The FK-940ti X-Pert II Knife from Tusa has been made from high quality titanium and can be easily disassembled for cleaning and maintenance.
Titanium is a highly resistant metal alloy that does not rust yet is stronger than traditional steel. Tradition steel dive knives tend to require continual maintenance of cleaning and coating in silicone to avoid rusting. Titanium alloy knives such as this one don't need this, although you should still wash and clean with fresh water after diving and dry normally to ensure longevity.

TUSA X-Pert II Titanium Knife - Features
?Whether the knife can be fitted to a BCD using supplied pins or thumb screws.
?Wether the knife can be fitted on to a belt or other length of webbing
|Blade length (mm)|
?The length of the cutting section
?Whether the knife can be fitted to a hose using supplied attachments
?Whether the knife can be fitted to the leg using suppled straps
|Line Cutting Notch|
?Some knife blades include a specially designed notch for cutting most forms of line or thin rope. Line is much easier to cut in a controlled manner when using the notch instead of slicing the line or rope using the sharpened edge of the blade.
?The overal length of the knife, cutter or shears. This length is measured with the sheath in place.
?A serrated edge makes it easier to cut through some materials, acting more like a saw than a straight blade.
?Sheaths are typcially made from either plastic or webbing. Plastic housings offer impact protection and will incorporate a locking mechanism to help prevent accidental lose of the knife. Webbing sheaths are normally supplied with smaller, low profile back-up knifes and cutter and usually use a velcro tab to retain the knife or cutter.
?Standard knife blades are usually available with either a point or blunt tip. A pointed tip holds more a risk of accidental punction of other equipment or injury. A blunt tip reduces the risk of accident damage and is also handy as a lever if you need to pry something open.
