AR / UV420 Optical Lenses
UV 420 Lens Treatment protects your eyes against harmful high-energy visible (HEV) light and its potential to damage the Retina. HEV light is not just present on sunny days, but overcast days as well. Therefore, it is extremely important to protect your eyes against UV and HEV light in all weather conditions when diving. Acting like sunglasses with ultra clear lenses they protect your eyes while allowing you to see more realistic colours.
Reinforced Tri-Mix frame
Three distinct layers are combined to produce one superior frame structure. Polyurethane (PuRiMaX) material bumper protection and a cross-beam metal frame structure combined with the superior toughness of the polycarbonate frame bolted together create a seriously tough mask.
Freedom Fit II Technology
Freedom Technology is a set of technologies to enhance fit and performance meaning the mask will fit better to more face shapes, exclusive to TUSA. Freedom model masks feature a dimpled skirt surface with varied silicone thicknesses and stability ridges in addition to a proprietary low-friction skirt surface on the fitting line. The new Fit II technology adds strength and rigidness to the skirt for use in tough environments.

| Frame ? Masks are available with either an external (Frame) or internal (Frameless) which gives the mask it's structural strength.
Somes advantages of an external frame design are replacement of parts as the mask can usually be dismantled into its component parts and some manufacturers offer off the shelf corrective lenses which can be retro fitted.

| Lens Type ? The main lenses are available in two different configurations, Single and Twin.
Single lens masks provide a more open vision as the frame between the centre of the eyes is removed, this also typically results in a lower profile mask.

| Skirt Material ? The skirt is the seal around your face that stops the water from getting in. Cheaper masks will just have a Thermoplastic that will do the job but harden over time and discolour if left in the sun. Most are Silicone that are soft, create an effective seal and don't discolour quickly.
