The Scubapro TK15 Knife is a tough and reliable dive knife made from a single piece of marine-grade stainless steel that’s been machined to achieve the ideal balance of strength and weight. The polished surface is specially ground to let the water drain easily and prevent oxidation. The thickness of the stainless steel is consistent all the way through, creating a high level of stiffness.
The blade is 15cm/6in long and features a lower smooth-edge and an upper line cutter with a serrated edge close to the handle to maximize control of the cut. The knife comes with a heavy-duty handle and a fiberglass-reinforced polyamide sheath with nylon straps. Also included is a SCUBAPRO branded hand cover with bungee for securing the knife to the hand in critical dive conditions.

Scubapro TK15 Knife - Features
?Whether the knife can be fitted to a BCD using supplied pins or thumb screws.
?Wether the knife can be fitted on to a belt or other length of webbing
?Whether the knife can be fitted to a hose using supplied attachments
?Whether the knife can be fitted to the leg using suppled straps
|Line Cutting Notch|
?Some knife blades include a specially designed notch for cutting most forms of line or thin rope. Line is much easier to cut in a controlled manner when using the notch instead of slicing the line or rope using the sharpened edge of the blade.
?A serrated edge makes it easier to cut through some materials, acting more like a saw than a straight blade.
?Sheaths are typcially made from either plastic or webbing. Plastic housings offer impact protection and will incorporate a locking mechanism to help prevent accidental lose of the knife. Webbing sheaths are normally supplied with smaller, low profile back-up knifes and cutter and usually use a velcro tab to retain the knife or cutter.
?Standard knife blades are usually available with either a point or blunt tip. A pointed tip holds more a risk of accidental punction of other equipment or injury. A blunt tip reduces the risk of accident damage and is also handy as a lever if you need to pry something open.
