Sheath Material
?
Sheaths are typcially made from either plastic or webbing. Plastic housings offer impact protection and will incorporate a locking mechanism to help prevent accidental lose of the knife. Webbing sheaths are normally supplied with smaller, low profile back-up knifes and cutter and usually use a velcro tab to retain the knife or cutter.Close

A useful little tool

Very sharp on the serrated edge, but the curved part could do with being a little sharper.

I have tested it on webbing, as I will be using it for powerboat racing rescue, so will need it to cut seat belts, and crash helmet straps, and am confident it will be up to the job. The sheath slips noicelt onto my webbing, and is easy to get the tool in a hurry
