The AquaLung Pro HD BCD is the perfect BCD for a beginner diver and the veteran diver as it has all of the features of a top-notch BCD but at a reasonable price. This jacket style BCD is made of a new fade resistant material and is packed full of features despite the small price-tag.

Durable ResisteKTM Material is tough but lightweight and most importantly fade resistant so the colours on the BCD will last much longer without fading from exposure to sunlight. Most BCD's turn a brown colour with extended use but the Pro HD is designed to maintain it's looks far longer than most BCDs.

Convenient Hose Management Sleeves to Stow your octo without the need for an octo holder or hoses dangling around your side. Simply push your octo hose into the sleeve on your left or right-hand side so the second stage stays in position but still has a quick release.

Stainless Steel D-Rings all over the BCD to attach accessories and tools are tougher then plastic ones but don't add much weight.

Features

  • SureLock II Integrated Weight System
  • Low Profile E-Valves
  • Two Over-sized Pockets

Style
?
There are three styles of BCD; Jacket, Wing & Hybrid. Jacket style BCDs have inflation on the back and around your waist and are prefered by beginner divers because they support you in any position. Wing style BCDs only have inflation on your back around your tank. These hold you in a better position in the water and don't squeeze you when fully inflated. Hybrid BCDs are jacket style BCDs but with a modified section that wraps around the tank for better position in the water.Close.

Trim Weight Pouches
?
Trim weight pockets allow weight to be added to the back of the BCD to balance out the distribution. They are also useful to counterbalance the affect of wearing a pony or other redundant system as counter weights can be added to the pouch on the opposite side, helping to prevent rollingClose.

Great BCD

This is a great BCD at a very reasonable price. It fits perfectly (I'm 5' 10" and slim build) and it seems to be quite a rugged construction. I like the big side pockets which are really handy for storing bits and pieces although I imagine some people might prefer a less bulky design. I also like the pocket for storing the octo but I've realised that it's still a good idea to secure the hose with a clip otherwise it tends to work itself loose. Fortunately there are lots of cleverly placed D rings just for this purpose!

Very comfortable

All round very happy just one thing is the left hand dump valve needs to be filling out and not in the strap as the hose will bend and not let air dump,
