The Aqua Lung Axiom BCD provides the perfect balance between freedom of movement, fit, comfort and functionality thanks to a list of new features.
The new integrated Wrapture harness system provides better stability and support with swivelling quick release shoulder straps which are secured closer towards the back to provide a more open but more secure fit, helping to prevent the BCD from rolling sliding on the body.
The standard cam band tank buckle has been replaced with a new GripLock system which allows to set and forget the buckle setting after the initial fitting. Minor adjustments are easily made via a velcro secured strap next to the buckle to make alterations for different cylinders simple. A safety feature has been integrated to prevent injury to fingers when tightening the clamp.
More traditional features include valve retention strap, gauge and octopus pouches, flat e-valves to reduce snags, a knife attachment point and integrated SureLock II weight system.

|Integrated Weight Capacity|
?The recommended maximum weight for both integrated weight pouches (based on medium BCD)Close
?Quick release weight systems allow a more comfortable distribution of weight as it no longer has to be solely worn around the waist. Easy removal means that the pouches can be quickly removed and handed over to boat crews on exit or dumped in an emergency.Close

?There are three styles of BCD; Jacket, Wing & Hybrid.
Jacket style BCDs have inflation on the back and around your waist and are prefered by beginner divers because they support you in any position.
Wing style BCDs only have inflation on your back around your tank. These hold you in a better position in the water and don't squeeze you when fully inflated.
Hybrid BCDs are jacket style BCDs but with a modified section that wraps around the tank for better position in the water.Close

|Trim Weight Pouches|
?Trim weight pockets allow weight to be added to the back of the BCD to balance out the distribution. They are also useful to counterbalance the affect of wearing a pony or other redundant system as counter weights can be added to the pouch on the opposite side, helping to prevent rollingClose
