Rash Vests are better than a standard T-Shirt because of the material itself and the weave. The material is part of Fourth Element's Ocean Positive range, made using recycled polyester for plastic bottles that doesn't shed fibres into the water like a standard T-Shirt. The weave is tighter also so, when it is wet and stretched it still blocks harmful UV Rays. UV protective material replaces the amount of sunscreen you need to wear that would normally end up in the water and can be harmful to marine life.
Who's the HydroSkin For?
The HydroSkin is a premium skin-tight rashvest for scuba diving, snorkelling and any other watersport to protect your top half from harmful UV-Rays and jellyfish stings when worn alone as well as protect your skin from rubbing and chafing wetsuits. A good rash vest should be a staple of every diver and snorkeller to protect themselves in the water.
