St Kitts Tourism Videos On Website April 21, 2011 by lukesheppard
Divers may be interested to hear that the first of five promotional videos for the Caribbean island of St Kitts has been launched on the Telegraph’s website. The five videos will offer an insight into the local diving facilities on offer on the island as part of a drive to inspire tourists heading there for a break. As well as offering the lowdown on diving, the films will show other nature experiences on offer to holidaymakers. The videos, which also provide a closer look at some of the local animals, are to be found on a micro-site dedicated to St Kitts. Captain Crabby of Dive St Kitts will tell viewers all they need to know about local diving and aquatic activities, while Greg Pereira from Greg’s Safaris will give an on-screen run-down of the island’s rainforests. Rosecita Jeffers, chief executive of the island’s tourism authority, said: “Partnerships are key to St Kitts’ success in the UK market and we are delighted to be launching such an exciting campaign with the Telegraph Media Group. “We believe that the Telegraph’s audience would be intrigued with what the island has to offer and, working closely with our airline partner BA, we are showcasing the ‘real’ destination in this campaign to give them a true feel of the island.”
