Vide transcript: Welcome to the Farne Islands. The Farne Islands are a small island chain off the northeast coast of England. The island chain is home to lots of different families of seals that at the right time of year are very, very playful. The Farne Islands is mainly kelp gardens with little swim-throughs that you can swim through the forests, but you do get some walls with rock outcroppings that are covered in invertebrates and dead man’s fingers. Diving with the seals can be really good fun in the water, but with the colder water temperatures and the adverse weather conditions, it’s more for advanced divers who dive in a drysuit or a very thick neoprene wetsuit.
