This car looks like it should be straight out of James Bond movie but in facts its real! From Switzerland based Rinspeed this working concept car was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show last year and is currently the only fully submersible car in the world. Unlike military vehicles we have seen in the past that can only float or sink, the sQuba can control its depth via an onboard compressed air tank and thrusters attached to the side of the car. The occupants of the car also breathe off the compressed air tank. The car can dive to depths of up to 10 meters but is fortunately roofless to provide easy escape if anything goes wrong. The body is clearly based on the much loved Lotus Elise but unlike the Lotus this runs on batteries making it environmentally friendly. Which is great news for the fish! Currently speaking its only a one off but Frank Rinderknecht of Rinspeed told journalists to keep an eye on the tide next time your sunbathing as you never know what may emerge from the water.
