Project AWARE, the non profit organization that works in partnership with divers to promote the conservation of marine environments, has just announced a new way of donating to the cause. UK PADI professional in the UK can now help to raise funds via their mobile phones, by texting AWARE to 70500 to donate £5 to the charity. Founded in 1989, Project AWARE works with PADI to promote the conservation activities of divers and scuba professionals around the world. Money donated goes towards underwater and shoreline clean ups, marine debris prevention and coral reef conservation, as well as marine protection, shark education, reporting and conservation and environmental training for divers and learning programs for children. https://www.projectaware.org/
