Diving enthusiasts are gearing up to try out the latest equipment at the London International Dive Show next month. LIDS 2011, held at ExCeL on March 26/27, will feature gear ranging from BCs and drysuits to dive torches and computers. State-of-the-art equipment to be unveiled at the show includes Oceanic’s new Biolite BC, Beuchat’s VRT 80 regulator, Tusa’s BCJ Conquest APA BC, AP Valves’ Commando Escape BC, Suunto’s D9, Greenforce’s Hybrid LED dive torches and Metalsub’s XRE-5000 LED. O’Three’s new Ri 2-100 flex drysuit and Ri 1-100ccn, DUI’s FLX Extreme, and the new Body Glove dive range brought to LIDS by Typhoon, will also be on show. Tek diving equipment will also be a highlight at exhibitors’ stands, and at the New Products Showcase display area. Advance tickets cost £7.50 (or £6.50 if you buy six or more). Bookings made before the end of February will qualify for a prize draw to win a Suunto Air dive computer worth £399.
