If you were to head to Grüner See in Austria in the winter you would find a dry meadow. Take a trip there in the spring and you will find this beautiful green lake (Grüner See) which is filled by the melted snow runoff.  This makes the lake water crystal clear and the existing meadow and rocks that are there give it its stunning green colour.
