For those who fancy a dive with the sharks, Egypt could the the perfect destination. Egypt has been a popular destination for many holiday-goers this year, it’s not surprising really with cheap flights and holiday packages, clean, clear waters and pretty sandy beaches. For divers, the Red Sea is a dream place to dive too, and now people who go there are enjoying diving with sharks.

Divers can take a boat trip off the coast of Marsa Alam where they can see hammerhead sharks  gliding through the water in their natural environment. Although we often think of sharks as dangerous creatures and for many of us, diving into waters with them is our worst nightmare, it is actually an amazing experience enjoyed by marine fans and scuba divers. Small fish should be weary of Hammerheads, but as for us, we’re too big and alien to be attacked and it’s likely they’re more scared of us than we are of them. Marsa Alam is known as a top Red Sea diving destination. Divers can get to Marsa Alam by flying into Cairo International airport.
