It is not often I do a blog post on a new product, but today we were absolutely blown away by a fantastic new product: The Exposure Marine Sub M3 Dive Torch. A motion controlled dive torch designed and built here in the UK! 

 The Sub M3 is controlled by sensors which activate its various modes. Circulate the torch clockwise whilst facing the floor and you remove it from lock mode, then point it forward, circle it a couple more times and the beam activates. Turning off is simple, circle the torch anti-clock wise a few times to turn off, then face it towards the floor and repeat to lock. Some of our more sceptical readers may have spotted that the night dive signal for ok is a circular motion, but the Exposure team have solved this by requiring several rotations to change mode and clockwise only turns on the beam. If at any point you are not sure there is a LCD display on the rear to tell you the current charge level, remaining time or mode. It really is an amazing piece of kit! The technical specs are all very impressive a couple of hours burn time, over 1500 lumens brightness, depth rated to 200m, 2 year warranty. Check out the full specifications on the website. The team at Exposure have also conquered charging, with a magnetic coupling, so there is nothing to break over years of use. The torch is supplied with the torch (obviously), USB charger, plug charger, lanyard, and wrist mount.
