Dating back to the Mid ‘70s, Apeks was created by two friends in the North of England, Ken Smith Ainscough and Eric Partington, whose initials would create the name APEKS. Combining their knowledge of diving and precision engineering they began the foundations of what would become the manufacturer of some of the most respected regulators on the market around the world.
Built to such high standards Apeks regulators were the first to pass EN250 and get CE rating which put them on the approved defence contractors so Apeks are trusted to supply diving equipment to Armed Forces around the world including the British Navy and emergency services such as Coast Guards, Police Forces and Fire Services.
Apeks now offers a complete range of scuba diving equipment for a range of scuba divers from entry-level to world record-breaking technical divers. Regulators, BCDs, Masks, Fins, Torches, Exposure Protection and Diving Accessories made with the Apeks name are highly sought after and independently tested as some of the best diving equipment available around the world.
Apeks Regulators are widely recognised as some of the best-performing regulators in the world, ranging from the light, compact XL4 Range, classic, customisable XTX Range to the rugged and tough MTX-R Range of Regulators.
Apeks BCDs are tried and tested by thousands of divers in all diving environments and they have each been fine-tuned to be the most efficient and reliable diver setups for all of your needs.
Apeks Masks and Fins quickly rose in popularity after they were announced. Simple and effective, Apeks Masks and Fins are designed to get the job done, with Apeks classic style.
New to the Apeks Range, the Luna Torch and Lifeline Reels and Spools are built to the highest standard, above and beyond the competition. Incredible specs and features, both torches and reels are some of the best available today.
