For diving enthusiasts in search of challenging sites to explore, Brunei may offer just the opportunity. The country’s shipwreck diving spots are becomingly increasingly popular among scuba adventure seekers worldwide. Some of the wrecks date back to the Second World War and have quite a bit of history behind them. Labuan is one of the favourite spot for scuba divers with four shipwrecks in its shallow waters. A group of Malaysian divers who went exploring the Australian and American wrecks around Labuan were impressed by the “historical” sites. One of the more experienced members of the team said diving in Brunei can be “very challenging” for beginners because of the unpredictable sea currents. But with professional support and guidance it can be a very fulfilling experience.
