The Big Scuba Show is scheduled to be held at London’s Olympia Exhibition Centre this weekend. The diving show, which is set to run from February 19-20, will feature exhibitions and diving pool activities led by a team of experts. Fitness advice will be offered by the Royal Marines, who will also conduct Commando drills for participants. TV presenter and former Royal Marine Monty Halls, who will lead the team of speakers at the show, said: “The Big Scuba Show will bring to life the world of diving and everything it has to offer, from groundbreaking science and photography to diving for beginners, expert technical advice and wonderful holidays.” Diving enthusiasts will also be able to try their luck at the show’s headline competition, which offers participants a chance to win a scuba holiday to Cuba, worth more than £5,000. The prize includes luxury accommodation, return airfare, a live-aboard safari in the archipelago of Jardines de la Reina, popular as a shark paradise, and trips to the capital city Havana and many of the beach resorts in the country.
