Information

The Seac Masterdry SemiDry Suit is a hard wearing semidry wetsuit suitable for British diving with a flexible dry TiZip and neoprene seals. As close to a drysuit as you can get before adding valves and boots this semidry will keep you drier longer and will work just as well when water starts to ingress.

Superelastic Extraflex Nylon outer improves flexibility by 300% compared to other 7mm wetsuits for comfort and maneuverability. Abrasion resistant sections protect the shoulders, knees and seat for the usual wear and tear of SCUBA diving.

Thermal Fiber Plush internal lining further improves the flexibility of the suit but also adds an efficient insulating layer that is quick drying and very smooth against the skin. The thermal fibre is also used inside the hood around the ears, nape and the side of your face for comfort and warmth.

Flexible Titex Master Zipper provides a watertight seal that is completely flexible and easy to open and close. The watertight TiZip is used on drysuits and will keep water from entering the suit from the main entry point.

Dual Layer Cuffs on the wrists and ankles provide a semi-dry seal with added insulation that can be layered up with gloves. The internal seal is roll-back Smooth Skin similar to drysuit seals which is ultra-elastic for an easy fit and flexibility.

Padded Back adds extra padding across the back for comfort when wearing heavy cylinders.

I used the suit on 25/03/16 in the sea at Plymouth 9 degrees C and found it warm enough. The sizing was spot on for me and it is easy to get on and off. I would recommend this product to anyone who uses a semi dry suit.

This semi dry is brilliant I used it over the weekend and the only part of me that was damp was just around the collar and the cuffs. Absolutely brilliant. Super warm - water was 13 degrees and I would normally have worn a shorty over the top of my previous suit. Definitely recommend

I've worn this suit now on 6 occasions. In water temps ranging from 15 - 11 degrees C. Its performed brilliantly every time. It was a struggle to get into at first. But its softened up and stretched a little in the right places and its now a breeze. I've stayed completely dry, every time I've worn it. I'm going to persevere and see what water temp i get to, before it becomes uncomfortable. I'll update when i'm forced to buy a dry suit.

Wore the suit at the weekend on a deep dive (38m). Water temperature was around 4 degrees C. Whilst i felt the cold, it wasn't unbearable. Also had a 1mm Scuba Pro under suit on. I also stayed dry, whilst a few of the group wearing Dry suits came out wet!

This is a great suit if fitted wonderfully, I did try several other makes and a few different sizes of this suit. finally found the right one, unfortunately it had a small tear in the neck seal and had to be sent back, no replacement available, so got a refund, no worries. but would definitely get one
