Information

GearAid Sea Buff Cleaner is a mildly abrasive cleaning fluid for preparing your mask and cleaning slates.  When you first buy a mask a chemical residue on the lenses cause them to fog up quickly and Sea Buff is very efficient for preparing your mask so it doesn't fog up. After you've prepared your mask you can clean your dive slates so you don't have smudged pencil marks all over it.

Who's Sea Buff For?

Sea Buff is for anybody with a brand new mask or even a mask that just needs preparing again. The small tub fits in any dive bag and can be used to prep your mask so it doesn't fog up by removing residue on the inside of the lens.

SeaBuff is also great for cleaning slates and removing pencil marks so your slate is bright and white again.

Take care with coated lenses and non-tempered glass lenses as the mild abrasive solution will remove residue but can also damage some coatings and lens materials. It's recommended that you try a small amount in a corner of the mask first.

Recommended Accessories

If you want to look after your new mask then a Simply Scuba Premium Mask Case is a great upgrade to the basic box you get with your mask. Even after you've prepared your mask you do still need to defog your mask to keep it clear and fog-free for your entire dive. Absolutely Clear is a gel that only requires a small coating inside your mask to keep it fog-free for your whole dive.
