The Mares Mens Pioneer 5mm Mens Wetsuit is a warm full length wetsuit with a new non-rubber custom closure with anti-abrasion velcro. Sticky instrument detailing on both wrists hold your computer in position to stop it slipping around or off your wrist.
Improved Cut and ultra-stretch panels allow a great freedom of movement with minimal retriction.
Back Zip makes it easy to get in and out of the suit and is padded along the spine for comfort. The new neck seal has an anti-scratch system that prevents pilling when the suit is in storage.
Hood and Integrated Keeper keep your head warm and the small D-Ring on the thigh clips the hood securely when not in use. The hood also features a pressure release system that allows expanding ags to escape out of the top of the hood.
Grippy Sleeves have a tacky polymer design around each wrist to hold computers and instruments from sliding or twisting around the wrist.

Good suit but would have expected better wrist sealing, as flushing was occurring during dives, not great unless in warmer waters.

The size guide works well and the tab on the back makes it easy to do up.

The suit performed as I expected for shallow dives in January in Malta. Withstand the cold easily.

Plentiful information on the website helped me choose this suit and its perfect for want I want. For the price it’s great quality with lots of features making it fantastic value. The fit is well described too, though I am decidedly average size/shape. I’ve not used it yet, only at the dinner table, but I’m not worried!

Used for the first time last Sunday, snorkelling off North Norfolk. Great fit, great build quality and really warm. Great improvement on my last suit.
