Fourth Element Xenos 5mm Womens Wetsuit

Black Grey

Manufacturers Description

The Fourth Element Xenos Wetsuit is made to be easier to put on and take off while keeping the thermal performance. Stretch neoprene and a clever cut make the Xenos one of the easiest suits to don and doff in it's class. 5mm will keep you warm in colder waters about 20-25°C depending on how much you feel the cold.

Hydrolock Wrist Seals create an effective seal to slow the flush of water in and out of the suit. Ankle seals are internal and the shape of the cuff itself is made to aid donning by allowing more space to fit your foot through. Glideskin neck seal complements the cuffs to slow the flush of water and a double smoothskin seal under the zip completes the all-round protection. Inside the suit is a Thermoflex lining with a Thermocore chest panel to trap the water in key areas to keep you warm throughout the dive.

Dura Wear Anatomic Printing on the chest and shoulders armours key areas to prevent piling and damage from usual wear from BCD straps. Knees have a more comprehensive Shield System with tougher reinforcement over a tougher external fabric.

The Xenos are superb design, both 5mm and 3mm. Really thought-out features like the protection on shoulders and chest, shaping and type of seals for comfort, and the colours and use of logos are great - not over stated. The cut is excellent and flattering for a woman, being nipped in at the waist. My problem was the wrists and ankles being way too tight to get on over hands and feet. This seems to be a problem with tiny wetsuits and scaling down for size, producing less relative stretch over the small wrist area. The size 6 fitted well, but cut off blood supply to hands, so I tried the 8. This was still tight on the wrists, but also now too big around the shoulders and back. Comparing sizes on their chart, I will go for the size 8 extra short, as I think that will give more ease donning over hands but take away most of the excess around the shoulders and neck area. (size 40 kg, 150 cm) Also the 3mm will go over wrists easier. Probably fine for larger sizes to get on, and this wetsuit looks fantastic on. Great design, lovely stretchy neoprene. Superior to Bare Nixie, which I also tried.

Bought for my wife, after trying alot of other brands. The xenos is a top class. Elastic easy to put on, keeps warmth and very good material with cool patterns

The wetsuit looks good and high quality. The neck lining is quite high and on the first try feels like it’s a bit choking. But seems to be fine after couple uses.
