The Fourth Element Dry Snorkel is a snorkel with an articulated valve at the top and one-way purge valve at the bottom to keep the airway clear from water. The top of the snorkel has a splash guard that helps to deflect waves from splashing over the top and a small float inside so that when submerged, it floats up and blocks the top of the snorkel so that water can't get in.
The lower section has a small water trap that collects any water that does find its way into the snorkel and keeps it away from your mouthpiece and you can still breath around it. A one-way valve pushes any water out of the bottom of the snorkel every time you exhale which is much easier than having to clear the entire snorkel.
Who's the Dry Snorkel For?
The Dry Snorkel is for divers and snorkellers who don't like water in or around their mouth. Dual valves work together to keep the snorkel free from water to keep water away from your mouth in the water, even if you dive under. The snorkel Keep detaches from the snorkel and can be left on your mask strap for convenient storage and transport.
