The Fourth Element Arctic Socks combine the outstanding performance of the Xerotherm with additional thermal layering, the Arctic is the next stage in the development of a high performance system for divers in the most extreme environmental conditions.
Â
Fast Wicking, high insulation fabrics, the Arctic creates a micro climate around the wearer, keeping the body dry and warm. A high density inner fleece provides superior insulation, with maximum comfort and wicking, whilst the outer layer, which has a water repellant finish, ensures a snug fit.
Â
Suitable For Year Round use underneath drysuits; the Acrtic, builds on the performance of the Xerotherm baselayer to be the perfect lightweight undersuit for dry suit diving.
Â
The Arctic Fabric will also continue to perform when wet. In situations even when a drysuit has flooded, the Arctic continues to provide thermal protection. In many cases of minor leaks you simply will not notice as the Arctic is so efficient at wicking water away from the skin and keeping you warm.
Â
Machine Washable at 30° with Fourth Element Sub-30 Wash but do not tumble dry.

Thermally, these socks work really well - just like the test of the Fourth Element range. My only comment would be to watch the sizing as the ones I got came up a little bit snug. I bought large which is 9-11on the sizing chart and my feet are 9.

Great socks for wearing under my neoprene drysuit. Keeps my feet nice and warm and they even work well inside wellies too!

Not tried yet with my dry suit but trying then on they seem comfortable and warm. Time will tell how warm they keep my feet under water.

This product kept my feet warm even when wet, but what I hate is how dirt, carpet fluff, hair, and so on easily gets stuck on these socks. Size is a decent fit for a medium size, slightly loose at the ankles but a bit too snug for the toes. I wear si

I have tried many type of socks to keep my feet warm in very cold water & these were excellent, I used these recently in cold fast moving water & they made the difference between working with very cold feet to having comfortable, warm & toaster feet.

Lovely warm feet when wearing these on a dive in Feb. Even when changed out of drysuit and they got brushed against wet outer they didn't feel clammy or damp.

Quite simply a superb product. Not too bulky but great thermal properties. I get cold feet a lot (yes I do wear slippers) but have found that Arctic socks have solved the problem for me. Easy to use, easy to clean, does the job. Nothing more to say.

Not convinced they are that much better than some good cheap thick socks from aldi, but they are good, well made. easy to get on\off and make donning drysuit with neo socks fairly easy.
3 April 2018
Fitted as expected. Excellent at keeping your feet warm. Not too bulky and much better than a normal pair of socks.
22 December 2018
