Very pleased with it, very warm.
It looks like you're visiting us from outside United Kingdom
The Fourth Element Arctic thermal system is now available in a one piece suit and features the same two layer thermal insulation material that be used by itself or combined with a base layer for especially cold conditions.
The Arctic uses two layers of fast wicking and high insulation fabrics to keep the body warm and dry. The high density inner fleece layer does the job of thermal protection and heat retention whilst the out liner provides a water repellant finish. The special choice of insulating fibre and babric means that the suit can actually be thinner compared to similar thermal rating suit, reducing the overall bulk and buoyancy. A significant amount of thermal protection is maintained even if the undersuit is wet.
Features include thumb and ankle loops for easy donning and entry into drysuits, zipped pocket of the upper right arm and front entry zip. The suit is also machine washable.

A fantastic purchase and very warm indeed! I wore this on top of my base layer in 8 degrees for over an hour and didn't feel the cold at all.

The zipped pocket on the sleeve is a great place for change or car keys, sizing chart is very helpful

Very very warm was used under a waterproof d1x drysuit in 3 degree water and 0degree air temperature nd was sweating by the time I was kitted up so is perfect for the really cold water diver. Only bad point is the sizing I got a medium going by the chart but could hav maybe gotten a large jus to had a little bit more room. But all in a really good buy

I used the size guide, opted for large, fits perfectly, nice snug fit. Item pictured carry bag which did not arrive, called simply scuba they rectified immediately. This suit is warm, very warm, tried on at home and was too hot, will be great for keeping warm diving when cold.

Very well made, excellent thermal insulation for its thickness, can add another layer if needed, suits general UK recreational diving. Might need more thermal rating for deep (+30m add another layer) or tech diving. Heavy thermal suits also add bulk and can effect buoyancy, this undersuit is ideal and more or less neutral under a trilam drysuit. Best mid range undersuit I have had

Very well made and good quality

The Arctic’s two layers of high insulation, low bulk fabric, ensure exceptional levels of thermal protection. Constructed with comfort and utility in mind, the minimalist design provides outstanding performance under closer-fitting neoprene drysuits. In a layering system, the Arctic is also suited for use underneath membrane and trilaminate suits. Using a combination of fast wicking, high insulation fabrics, the Arctic creates a micro climate around the diver, keeping the body dry and warm. A high density inner fleece provides superior insulation, with maximum comfort and wicking, whilst the outer layer, which has a water-repellent finish, ensures a snug fit. The Arctic requires less loft to perform due to more effective management of air which is held in the fibres of the suit. Instead of maximising the thickness of the layer of air near the skin, the Arctic minimises the movement of air within, reducing the rate of cooling, without any risk of trapping the air and preventing its release from the dump valve. The Arctic retains a significant degree of its thermal performance when wet, such that wearers have found it possible to complete dives in relative comfort after even the most fundamental drysuit failures. In some cases, divers have not noticed a leak in a neck or wrist seal until after the dive, such is the performance of the fourth element Arctic. Backed by years of field testing by the Norwegian Navy, the British Antarctic Survey Dive Team, the French Marines and the Danish Navy, the Arctic was designed using high technology fabrics and has been tested in real diving conditions from the Arctic to the Antarctic. Feature: Keeps the body dry and warm Superior low bulk insulation for flexibility Performs even when wet Machine washable Comfortable fit with fleece inner Used by FBI dive teams and military divers worldwide 80% Polyester/ 17% Nylon/ 3% Elastane Lining: 100% Polyester.
