Fourth Element Arctic Drysuit Undersuit Top

The Fourth Element Arctic is one of the highest performance undersuits in scuba diving and features a double layer of high tech fleece material to trap heat and wick moisture away from the skin.

Divevolution - Combining the outstanding performance of the Xerotherm with additional thermal layering, the Fourth Element Arctic is the next stage in the development of a high performance system for divers in the most extreme environmental conditions.

Warm - Using a combination of fast wicking, high insulation fabrics, the Arctic creates a micro climate around the wearer, keeping the body dry and warm. A high density inner fleece provides superior insulation, with maximum comfort and wicking, whilst the outer layer, which has a water repellant finish, ensures a snug fit.

Versatile - Suitable for year round use underneath neoprene drysuits or summer use under membrane suits, the Xerotherm Acrtic, builds on the performance of the Xerotherm base layer to be the perfect lightweight undersuit for dry suit diving.

The Arctic will also continue to perform when wet. In situations even when a drysuit has flooded, the Xerotherm Arctic continues to provide thermal protection. Fully machine washable.

Increase the warmth of your xerotherm by add a Fourth Element DryBase layer underneath. Pre and post dive use the Fourth Element Ozone outerwear to avoid the chill.

  • Thumb loops prevent the sleeves riding up whilst donning the drysuit.

These are the best undersuit i have used, better than the Weezle just on less bulk, as they are easier to move in. They are like toastie.

20 December 2006

Best purchase of the year. Worn under a membrane drysuit with thin thermals in the artic this winter, still warm when damp. Looks good also- excellent

16 January 2007

Excellent! Would highly recommend as I was 100% cozy even with a slight wrist seal leak. Never even noticed it until I removed my neoprene suit. A very nice fitting top and looks good when worn with leggings also. Not to be tried on in the house w

25 January 2010

Beware that the sizes are on the mean side. I ordered the top for my body size, and its *tight*. Probably best to order one size larger than what you measure up as.

9 March 2010

I have worn all of the kit for Diving and motorcycling under my leathers - During this hard UK winter it proved more than adequate for my 60 minute ride to work. I have now owned the gear fro 4 years now and it's still going strong you just can't b

excellent thermal top - looks very bulky when it first arrives and you wonder how you are supposed to dive with it on.. but that thought goes out of the window the moment you step foot into the cold water... excellent product and i could not believe

I bought these items as im a police firearms officer who needed gear to keep me warm under issued uniform. I cant comment on how they perform as scuba gear but have the following advice. The item is well made, looks great and easily to get on and off

This is a present but was given early as he was diving the following day (2 degrees) He came back very happy and warm. As I didn't wear it personally I can't give it a ten but everything else was great. Delivery spot, packing excellent.

24 May 2011

Only rated as 9/10 as I haven't tried it underwater...well made and thermal protection feels soft (compared to rivals). Should keep me warm (when the water gets colder)

31 May 2011

Great buy, very warm. For really cold weather/water probably best to have a thinner top underneath. Really worth the money.

8 July 2011

Excellent! Finally got to use this for the first time on Wednesday and very happy. Nice and warm underneath a membrane dry suit at 13 deg. Big plus is that it looks and feels so much better than my previous undersuit which I always thought was a bit

Fits perfect and cosy, have yet to try under water though

4 April 2013

Very comfortable and very warm, even after a neck-seal leak in 3ºC water.

7 April 2013

Excellent insulation and overlaps well with the leggings, even when kayaking. Great combination for winter kayaking in Scotland. I will also wear both for walking in severe weather and for sailing. Although of necessity bulky, these garments are very
