Diving Compasses

Scuba diving compasses are an essential instrument so you know what direction you're facing if you get turned around. A dive compass is different from a conventional compass as they are usually filled with oil to prevent the pressure from affecting them. Most diving compasses are also tilt compensating so they don't have to be held perfectly flat to read them. Hand and wrist mounted compasses are the most common, some are attached to retractors but they can be fixed to your gauges in a console too but we put those in the Instrument Dept.
