The XTX 200 is the flagship of the Apeks regulator range. A cold water rated, fully balanced primary regulator with environmental seal.
The FSR first stage uses a balanced diaphragm design for high performance and air flow at any depth and cylinder pressure. Air is supplied via four low pressure and two high-pressure ports configured in easy hose routing positions. Cold water protection is provided by using a dry environmental seal to prevent ice crystal forming on the main spring and critical components that could lead to a free flow. The seal also provides contamination and chemical damage protection for soft material parts such as o-rings and the diaphragm.
The XTX 200 second stage features an inlet heat exchanger combined with a full metal valve body to improved cold dissipation. Venturi control is provided via a lever on the side of the housing to control air flow within the second stage. Inhalation resistance can also be adjusted by using the external control knob to increase the resistance required to open the valve if needed by the diver.
The XTX 200 is also supplied with interchangeable exhaust covers, giving the option of a compact and streamlined cover or a wide deflecting cover that pushes exhaled gas away from the front of the face.
The first and second stages are joined by a braided black low-pressure hose. Braided hoses provide extra protection and safety by increasing UV resistance and significantly increasing the burst pressure of the hose compared to traditional rubber hoses. Braided hoses are also lighter and more flexible.

I''ve owned a set of Apeks regs for nearly two decades and the XTX 200 doesn''t disappoint. Very easy breathe, compact and fairly lightweight, also very reasonable servicing costs.

The XTX 200 is second only to the XTX Tungsten and quite rightly enjoys its position towards the top of the Apeks regulator range. The definitive blend of style and high performance, every detail on this product has been carefully designed to offer a regulator of the highest quality. Features a swivel hose for maximum comfort. Features • Features an innovative Diver Changeable Exhaust system (DCE). This system gives the diver the ability to change from a small exhaust tee to a large exhaust tee. This gives the user a choice, wider exhaust tee for minimal bubble interference (essential for underwater photography) and narrow exhaust tee for a smaller compact comfortable regulator. The regulator is supplied with both sets of exhaust tees. • An optional 5th port is available which features the additional bonus of an integrated heat exchanger (available on the Tungsten, XTX200 and XTX100 first stages). • Can be converted from a right-handed hose configuration to a left-handed one. The process of changing the regulator to a left-handed configuration is both quick and simple. However this procedure must ONLY be performed by an APEKS Authorised Service Technician. • Available in yoke or DIN configuration. • Braided flexi-hoses are now standard on all models. These hoses are lighter weight, more flexible and more durable. • Suitable for coldwater use (below 10°C / 50°F). • Compatible with EAN40 out of the box.
