The Apeks RK3 Fins are super hard wearing thermoplastic rubber fins designed in collaboration with military and public service divers for performance and reliability in the hardest conditions.
Solid Rubber Design has no joins or hinges to split or break. The compact vented design has been standard issue fin for military, special ops, coast guard and public safety divers for decades and is popular with professional divers around the world. Made for the most rugged environments the RK3 are great for technical divers for pure reliability and cave divers from their compact design and transportability.
Two Hanging Loops that make storage on pegs easy and transport with karabiners capable without having to customise the blade.
Vented Design improves efficiency by reducing the resistance on your ankle on the upstroke and enhances thrust on the downstroke by channelling water by eliminating vortices along the back of the blade.
Also Available in HD. The RK3 have two versions; standard and HD. Both the same shape and design, the RK3HD are a stiffer version that are more efficient but use more energy from your legs. If you want to fight currents or shift gear faster then the HD version will get you through the water faster but you do need strong legs to use them for long periods. For a more relaxed recreational dive the Standard version will be more comfortable. They will still get you where you need to go but you're legs won't ache as much.
The Standard and HD version look almost identical except for a small number 70 inside the foot pocket.
These are excellent fins, best I have used in my 15 years of diving. I struggle to find fins that fit my drysuit boots but these (size Super) have a good sized foot pocket that easily take my size 13 - 13.5 drysuit boots. They are not too heavy ei

The RK3 fins give the same propulsion as my Mares Excel+ but with an easier kick and better agility. They are also 7 inches shorter and so easier to deal with in the restricted space of a small boat or RIB. The spring strap also allows a single-ac

Absolutely love these! I'm wear a size 10 5mm soft sole boot; the medium is too tight, the large is almost perfect, they have never slipped off but they could feel a tad more snug. I imagine a size 10 proper boot would be perfect!

These are the best fins I have used. I''ve strugged a lot with long fins, but these shorter "jet fin" style allow for much easier finning, and are far better than other stlyes for frog kick, reverse and helicopter turns.

First the down side, until they've been to 40m a few times they are floaty to begin with you may need ankle weights if you don't dive every week and drysuit dive, the HD version doesn't suffer from this. But these are amazingly efficient in the water, next to no effort to frog kick and flutter kick makes you fly like a rocket, they are perfect for drifting and ideal to brake and bank out of drift. Only down side they feel a little heavy on the calf until you get used to them if you've come from long fins like I did, but I'm never buying any other type of fin again.

After trying ScubaPro jetfins and Seawing Nova's I have found the perfect fin for me. A good amount of flexibility and neutrally buoyant. Good feedback on fin stroke

Soon I started diving in a dry suit I had problems with streamlining because my legs always were to buoyant even with ankle weights.. not anymore;)

Well made and with effortless finning power. My only criticism is that they are a bit light, HD version is my preferred option

Superb fins, Size 10 wetsuit boots and size 11 Drysuit boots fit large size perfectly. Effortless finning, have tried several different fins now and can’t recommend these enough. Good size and light weight = easy travel.

Best fins I have used and I have tried a lot as I dive via diver centres around the world with rental kits. Was recommended by all the experienced divers and instructors and I tried a pair last time I was in Asia so no doubt it was the ones. Only thing to consider is that they ARE a bit heavy, so if travelling a lot then maybe not the best. But best in the water, so I prefer the extra kilos.
