WaterProof Bodyzor Undersuit

WaterProof Bodyzor Undersuit

£95.00 RRP £103.50  save 8%

Bodyzor undersuit from Waterproof. A common known problem is overheating onshore while in the suit and then having that moisture condensed when entering the cold water creates a sour inner climate and requires a system that supports the transfer of the moisture from the body to prevent heat loss. Made of super stretch Polyester fleece garment designed to carry moisture from the skin. This is a four piece undergarment consisting of a long armed t-shirt, trousers, socks and a convenient cap for after dive surface use. All packed into a small bag.

The bottoms are a slightly odd fit

The bottoms are a slightly odd fit, but overall the suit is very comfortable. This is a fairly thin (thermal layer) undersuit and I dived wearing it under a D1 Hybrid Drysuit on the 18th December with an air temp of 2 degrees and a water temp of 6 degrees celsius and was perfectly warm and comfortable even after 40 minutes. The socks/booties were more comfortable than I expected and my feet stayed warm. The suit had another advantage that it is not very bulky so I could just pull my ordinary clothes over the top after the dive and was still warm and toasty during the x-mas barbeque and on the way home.

Great as a baselayer

Great as a baselayer. Used these with some artics in 9 degrees and was very warm. Unsure about using them as your main undersuit as they are on the thin side. Besides this it makes a great base layer. Another super fast (next day!!) delivery from SS!!

This garment is made from medium weight technical fleece and...

This garment is made from medium weight technical fleece and is roughly equivalent to typical microfleece used in mountaineering clothing that I use. Buy one sizer bigger as other reviewers say. The bottoms are in particular cut very strangely. They have a narrow lower leg and are almost hipster style at the top so tie them up tight or you may lose them inside a drysuit. This is really a baselayer not an undersuit so you need to have thin lower legs, a small bum and a neoprene drysuit to use this product by itself in anything much colder than 12 degrees C.

I dive in a semi

I dive in a semi-dry in the UK all year normally but have now swapped to a drysuit, this undersuit on it's own is excellent. Very very warm and very good quality. When you order go one size up to ensure a proper fit. I am 6 ft, 33" wait, 46" chest and the Medium to large would be my normal sizing but having read previous reviews opted for the XL and the fit is perfect. Highly recommended.

A lovely four piece suit

A lovely four piece suit, the hat and top a nice snug fit, which for an extra large it should be - usually have medium / large. The feet are about a size 8 - darn tight for a size 9 and the legs, waist for an extra large is about 36" and the ankle end a struggkle to pull on and off. Once on keeps you nice and snug, pity the sizing does not match up with its warmth performance.
