Underwater Kinetics SL6

£44.95

The bright narrow penetrating beam of the SL6 makes it ideal for scanning the reef for marine life hiding under ledges. It can be uses as a main light for night diving or as the perfect backup light.

Just the right size and power as a backup torch

Just the right size and power as a backup torch. Quite bright and long lasting.

Have 2 of these on my dive helmet

Have 2 of these on my dive helmet, went down to 70 plus meters this weekend and they worked excellently!!! Top piece of kit. Silent running Mixed Gas Dive Team.

Can

Can't fault this as a handy backup torch. Did the job nicely in the Red Sea, although the beam isn't particularly wide. Good for pointing out objects, not so good for illuminating areas for photography.

As noted by previous reviewers this is powerful torch

As noted by previous reviewers this is powerful torch (201 Lumens), albeit with a narrow beam. I'm happy to use this as a primary in clear waters (e.g Gozo) or as a back-up in more testing conditions. Very compact and well made - recommended.

I used this as my primary light for a night...

I used this as my primary light for a night dive and for looking around wrecks and into gaps etc. It delivers a powerful beam of light and is very reasonably priced for the amount of light it sheds. The only drawback is that the beam is somewhat narrow - but then it doesn't claim to be a wide beam. Small and light enough to fit into BCD pocket and get in and out of a pocket during a dive without trouble.

good piece of equipment

good piece of equipment, i bought it as a backup, but i would happily use it as a primary on day dives to look into crevices etc. its power / light to weight ratio makes it excellent value for money
