TUSA Visualator Mask

TUSA Visualator Mask

£41.00 RRP £50.50  save 19%

The first important difference in the Visulator is that the lens and frame have been dramatically made bigger compared to previous products. The second important difference is that the distance between the lens and the eyes has been reduced. To increase the field of vision in a mask, the lens must be brought closer to the eyes. To achieve this, the Visulator's frame was made as thin as possible and the fitting line was moved slightly to the outside.

By moving the fitting line up to the middle of the forehead, the distance between the lens and the eyes is further reduced and a wider field of vision (both above and below as well as left and right) is achieved. The inner volume has actually been reduced compared to traditional single lens masks. The lens and frame have been made bigger, but since the distance between the lens and the eyes has been reduced, the inner volume has actually been reduced in comparison with other traditional single-lens masks. Thus, clearing the mask, as before, is easy to do.

Since the fitting line is large in proportion to the large size of the mask and because of the thinness of the frame, the mask is also more resistant to moving, even in a current. The five-position strap adjuster is a first for the industry. This provides for the best fit. Until now, in order to adjust the vertical fitting of the mask, it was necessary to change the tension by sliding the strap vertically at the back of the head. The Visulator features a five-position strap angle adjuster to make fine adjustments for the vertical fitting of the mask possible.

By making changes and setting the left and right strap angles, fine adjustments to the vertical fitting, which were not possible on masks until now, can be made quickly and easily.

Very nice mask

Very nice mask, felt very solid however it was so massive I just had to send it back! Fit nicely but just the overall size of it was just enormous.

Fantastic field of vision

Fantastic field of vision, easy to clear, comfortable - but this of course if you face fits this mask. I agree with the other comments, if you have a large nose you may struggle with this mask pocket. If had mine for 4 years and its only the mask strap showing signs of wear and tear - can mask straps be bought i wonder?

I had the Mares X

I had the Mares X-Vision and lost it on a dive trip in France. I thought i'd give the Visulator a go to see if it was better and i am happy to say the field of view is slightly better upper left/right and straight above. Excellent mask with the black skirt to keep out stray light. I wouldn't recommend a mask like this with a clear skirt.

Good mask that fits me well

Good mask that fits me well. Did experience more mask squeeze that in my double lens mask, but soon learnt to equalise with a quick blow out through my nose! Excellent vision and well put together with an excellent case.

Great product

Great product. Good skirt, very little leaking to some of my other masks and a very comfortable fit. This is my first single lens mask and i must say the field of view tusa has achieved is excellent considering the masks low profile which also makes clearing it very easy. The only minus would be the nose pocket which to be honest i found a little small. Anyone with a large nose would struggle with the fit. Other than that though, very good value and quality and I`ve used it for both scuba and snorkelling and was well impressed.

Great all

Great all-round vision without having too much internal volume. I prefer the fit to my Big Eyes mask (this has a bit more skirt depth at the bottom). Fits larger faces well but don't consider if you have a large nose as this has one of the smallest nose c
