Great piece of equipment

Great piece of equipment (a good size and with a very solid feel - I was a bit concerned it might be flimsy and easily knocked or damaged but that seems unlikely. However I was slightly surprised that it came with absolutely no instructions whatsoever. Diddly squat nothing in the box apart from the transmitter. OK, it's easy enough to attach the the cylinder but I'm going to guess that I'll have to read my dive computer manual again to find out how to pair the two (if there are other divers in close proximity also with the same transmitter). So don't be surprised that you'll have to find some literature about how to pair them correctly.

It works

It works. It is a pain to need to redo pairing procedure between dives (on the same day), and all to easy to forget this vital step - pairing requires you to turn off the gas and put the watch next to the device (or "very near") and turn it on again. Also I have to say it seems outrageously expensive for what it does. But as the previous user says - does what it says on the tin...

Excellent piece of kit and a very useful backup for SPG. Easy to fit, works perfectly as long as you remeber to pair with your computer (mine is Sunnto D9). Also here the cheapest I found.

Easy to fit and does what it says on the packet. I coupled it with a Suunto D9 and had no problems - except on one dive I forgot to refresh the signal inbetween dives when I had been out of range - silly me!

 Splendid

Splendid...buy this for your Vytec and you will never look back. The ability to check your tank contents without fumbling for the SPG whilst at 42m and taking photos of black tips is one I would recommend to anyone.
