This is a good basic instrument set

This is a good basic instrument set. It is easy to read underwater and sturdy against knocks and bumps. The dials are not constantly luminescent but glow brightly for a couple of minutes when 'charged' with your dive lamp. Definitely a good unit for a beginner or those who like to use wrist mounted computer and compass.

The guage has performed very well right down to 40m

The guage has performed very well right down to 40m. It is clear, concise and easy to read even in low light conditions. The fact that you can expand the unit to include, for example, a computer or compass, or to replace a damaged component is a big plus. Even under pressure it is easy to turn the dial round to face you. The only point, and it is more of a personal quibble, is that the max dive depth guage requires a screwdriver to reset - a push button reset would have been better.
