Scubapro Twin Jet

Scubapro Twin Jet

£138.00 RRP £154.00  save 10%

Like the tailfin of a Humpback, SCUBAPRO's Twin Jet Fin uses a split hydrofoil shape to deliver more forward motion with less effort. A whole lot more kicking power with a whole lot less effort and drag: check out a Humpback, its "twin jet" tail can lift a mega-ton! As a result, our Twin Jet fin is by now the fastest fin ever tested.

Good fins

Good fins, but the downside is the price and the weight. Way too heavy for my liking and too heavy for the suitcase when going on holiday, but on the upside, very well made and built to last.

When I wear these

When I wear these, my buddy cannot keep up! I have been having nice relaxing slow paced dives with these fins but afterwards my buddy is a mess!

I used a pair of Seac Subs for a short while and then decided to try these split fins, after a couple of people had told me how different they would feel - they were right, the whole experience of finning is different - admittedly expensive, but I am delighted with them.

Oh My GOD

Oh My GOD! These are amazing. But first - cut the bull... a humpback lifts a megaton... since when did a whale weigh a million tons? Back to the point these fins are awesome I strapped them on and jumped into a stronget than expected head-current. Within 5 minutes the entire dive party were slipstreaming me. On a surface rescue swim I rolled on my back and flutter-kicked... I SWEAR is was aquaplaning. They're not for everyone and you may need to modify your kick, but if you can adapt to the they will reward you. They are also heavy so good for dry suits

Both straps undid constantly

Both straps undid constantly - luckily I had old scubapro straps which would fit. After what I've read/heard about them I cant say I'm impressed. If anything, 5-10% improvement on my old £35 tradewinds - worth the extra? not sure it is.

I have the more rigid black ones and these are really good. Quite heavy on land but great on RIBs due to flexibility. Good for video/photo work and wreck as make you v. manoeuvrable under water. Might want something stiffer in strong current. Good all ro

 Top pair of fins

Top pair of fins. Little effort needed to propel yourself, just small ankle kicks suffice. You feel like your not wearing fins to start, a weird feeling, takes some getting used to.
