Nice little LED backup torch

Nice little LED backup torch, bright and low battery consumption. Maybe a bit overpriced but hopefully it will last a few years justufying the extra investment.

Lost my original

Lost my original, it is the best torch I have found to keep permanently in my bc pocket, very small, very efficient, even on a night dive when main light failed it was more than adequate and the batteries go on and on!

I don

I don't have much experience of u/w torches as the only other one I've ever owned I lost on it's second outing. However, I was throughly pleased with the the Nova. I took it on holiday to the Costa Brava and it proved the prefect traveling lamp (i.e. no excess baggage charge on Ryan Air!). It's tiny, but packs quite a punch and delivers a nice white light. In good light u/w it's not much good at a distance, say +1m, but is great for looking in to holes and under rocks etc close up. I also used it in a couple of caves, which were pretty black, but it provided plenty of light. I took it to about 30m and didn't experience the problems with the on/off switch problem I have seen reported elsewhere. No idea how long the batteries last as the original set are still in there. Also very handy for finding your way back to your tent from the bar at midnight.
