Yet again the swich has failed and I see from other comments I am not alone. It seems if I send the complete torch back I can get a switch put back in it FOC ...but the cost of this outways the switch price, therefore I suggest the lifetime guarentee is actually worthless.

I

I've owned one for 4 years and am pleased with it. It lasts about one uk dive season on a set of batteries [30 dives] which is great. I've had the switch fail twice over that period and each time it has been replaced free under the lifetime warranty. I can put up with that just about.

The swich is poor and this one can be switched on with the looking pin in place. I've only used it once so far and already found it on after I cleaned it after the dive

Good light

Good light, even in Scottish waters. Not to heavy and good burn time. Princeton after sale service is bad (only problem)

Heavy

Heavy, but it does what it says on the tin! Don't be put off by reports of the switch being difficult - it's better than having a hole burnt in your BCD by it switching itself on!

The torch beam was great

The torch beam was great! very white light and a bright beam, however my torch was very difficult to turn off. so at 18metres - 30metres once the torch was on that was that, until you could return to the surface and take the torch apart. The switch gets stuck, it wasn't just me as the Maldivian boat crew all tried to turn it off with no avail - a night dive torch only!

Very bright compared to other torches which are LED

Very bright compared to other torches which are LED. Batteries are supplied and the burn time is long enough to last at least half a season. It uses C size batteries which are cheaper than the D, around £10. The only downside is the lock for the on off switch, its a little difficult to lock. If the lock is not correctly pushed forward the torch can still turn on.
