Oceanic Geo 2,0 Dive Computer

Oceanic Geo 2,0 Dive Computer

£259.00 RRP £315.00  save 18%

The Geo 2.0 has been revamped by Oceanic with a new stainless steel accent ring and has now incorporated the Dual Algorithm, Deep Stop option and a redesigned user interface with a Step Back feature that allows you to navigate backward and forward through settings and menus. Oceanic also offers a Nitrox mix along with Firmware Auto Updates allowing you to download operational improvements via the PC interface (Please purchase separately).

The Geo makes a great back up dive computer as well as your main dive computer. It uses Dual Algorithm which is exclusive to Oceanic that allows you to choose between Pelagic DSAT which maximizes dive time for repetitive, multi-level recreational diving or Pelagic Z+ for conservative recreational diving. As you can change the Algorithm the Geo 2.0 also means you can synchronise with your diving buddy

My Mares Puck dive watched died on me during a diving trip to Puerto Galera, Philippines. The Dive Master of the Big Apple Dive resort recommended this computer. I could not have been happier with the price and the quality of the watch. I love to wear it even when I am not diving... and the price of the watch was very reasonable, considering the high quality of the watch. I will never go back to the large "puck type" style watch again!

Great computer to use

Great computer to use, once you have managed to understand the complicated instructions - a video tutoral is available online which makes the explanation far easier. The computer is easy to use & easy to read underwater. I would buy another.

Very easy to learn and use

Very easy to learn and use. Clear in the water. Good size to wear on the wrist throughout a dive holiday. Comes with a strap extension. DSAT algorithm seems slightly more generous than the Suuntos. I was only just about to lose NDC when leaving the MV Karwela after a 38m dive. The Suuntos were already into deco for some minutes. Your choice whether you think that is good or bad. I haven't used the PZ+ as I am not doing multiple deep dives with deco...yet. For perfection I would like the ability to delete a dive I didn't want (like the one where I tried it in the pool), though obviously not when it would affect the algorithms. I would also like air integration...and when/if Oceanic launch the Atom 3.0 it looks like it is basically this computer with air integration. I might have to make a pair... I have a Mac and use the MacDive programme instead of the bundled software which I think is PC only.
