Some of you might have experienced a suffocation feeling during...

Some of you might have experienced a suffocation feeling during the dive. During hard finning or when the air is low, I found the other non-balance regulator can't deliver enough air or I have to use more effort to inhale which in turn make me feel even more out of breathe, leading up to panic attack and hugh air consumption. I tried this regulator for 20 dives and found it to be very smooth. On the highest air setting, you can almost breath without effort at all. Most of the time I found that I have to turn it down slightly (also to prevent free flow if you take it out of your mouth) It gives dry inhalation in any position but the flow takes more effort to breath. In the end, it helps save my air consumption which turn me from the first diver up to the last one up. Flexible port positions and configuration. Love the swivel joint which allow the second stage to be able to rotate around. The pre dive +/- button doesn't have clear marking esp once you put it in your mouth so I was struggling to remember at first. Overall, It's a very good reg. Well worth every penny. Recomended

I use this 1st and 2nd stage with the Aplha...

I use this 1st and 2nd stage with the Aplha 8 alternate and the Swivel Navcon Triple Gauge all from Oceanic and I must admit it did free flow a lot at the start of it use but once I had made minor adjustment with knob I never had any problems with it. The swivel made it nice and comfortable in the mouth without any pulling or pushing of the mouthpiece. I swam inverted and at lots of funny angels and I did not get any water in it. The purge button is large easy to use and progressive, at full push very powerful. Great piece of kit.

Duncan O: Have used the fdx10 & Delta 4 combo in 2 degree to 17 degree waters with both air & 40% nitrox. Great air flow & flexibility. Now use less air than previous Scubapro. Can't be faulted. Oceanic equipment is my choice for all my kit- robust, well designed & trustworthy. Go Oceanic, but keep it to youself!
