It is quite big

It is quite big, but if you're buying an 'oversized' reel I guess you're expecting that! I just clip it onto my bcd and let it hang down while not in use during a dive - I imagine some might find that a bit annoying but it doesn't bother me - you'd have to have pretty voluminous pockets in your bcd to fit this reel inside one of them though. The reel itself works well, easier to use than the smaller alternatives I think. Anyway, I've got no complaints and would definitely recommend it - as long as you're comfortable with its size

Top class reel

Top class reel, works perfectly every time not over complicated but it is large and not easy to store which might not be to everyones liking. It might not be stainless steel but is good quality hard wearing polypropelene or ABS not cheap plastic. Excellent product. If you want small The McMahon compact is lso an excellent easy to use reel.

does what it says, and big and easy enough for gloved hands in cold water. practically bomb proof

This is a Ronseal product, it does what it says on the tin. A bit big but that is the point with this reel, it's idiot proof, you can't go wrong with it, never snags or jams. It's just about bullet proof.

Great big reel for wreck diving, had to add bunngie cord to secure my smb this is and upgrade needed to the product

Simply the best reel there is, never snags, very easy to use with even the thickest gloves and goes into a Buddy jacket pocket (just).

Big, cumbersome, and built like a brick outhouse. Very solid and does exactly what its supposed to do.
