The X-Vision Mid Liquid Skin Mask from Mares is a perfect scuba and snorkelling mask for narrower faces. The Mid utilises Mares Liquid Skin technology which is constructed from two different types of silicone; a more solid version for support and structure and a softer version for contact with the face, making it 45% softer on the skin and 270% more elastic for a great fit.

The Mid provides panoramic views by having an open field of vision and a lower internal volume helps accomplish this. Masks with less internal volume are more compact to store in the jacket pocket and for Apnea of Freediving a lower volume mask makes it easier to compensate.

I am a beginner diver with my Uni

I am a beginner diver with my Uni. I got this mask for the soft silicone and it really is amazing. Tried others and they were no where near as nice to wear. 10/10 for the product and 10/10 for the simply scuba team for excellent delivery time!

The lightest

The lightest, most comfortable mask ever! I have about 20 dives with it, and it beats all the others I tried (including much celebrated ones) hands down. Fits snugly, doesn't leak, doesn't fog. Preventative defogging is easy - just apply a thin layer of toothpaste and wash it off just before the dive with fresh water. Easy to equalise with this mask, great field of vision. Had a small trouble adjusting the straps - but after watching the video here it is very easy. I would recommend this mask to all divers.

I have only used the mask once since getting it

I have only used the mask once since getting it' on a 20 metre dive in the Med and it was great, really comfy, excellent vision, it did not fog and there were no leaks. I am looking forward to getting it wet again tomorrow.

Unbeatable quality and fit for the money

Unbeatable quality and fit for the money. So light you hardly notice it on and the visibility is great. Silver version allows you to see movement out of the corner of your eye with its clear skin, dark versions narrow vision angle slightly but are great for u/w photography. Highly recommended.

Good mask but

Good mask but...It appears to leak a bit from under the nose. Guys prepare to shave ALL your facial hair from your upper lip:). I'm a female and still it leaks...

This mask is amazing

This mask is amazing. The feel and how comfortable it is, is exceptional. I'd definitely recommend to anyone willing to purchase a mask. The MID is perfect for my face as well, adjustable and the wide viewing angle just lets you see everything possible. Wonderful product and i'm so glad i bought it, and look at the price...compare that to anything else you buy in any other sport and you've got yourself a bargain!!
