Thanks to its all-new design and innovative technical solutions, X-Vision offers a truly unprecedented field of vision, without limitations. The central position of the eyes and the optimally angled windows provide the widest possible viewing angle in every direction. Minimal internal volume and exceptionally light weight, at just 190g. / 6.7 ozs. The ergonomic quick-adjusting buckles, positioned directly on the skirt, afford superior comfort and hydrodynamics during the dive, as well as improving the adherence of the skirt to the face. In addition, this technical solution makes it easier to store the mask inside a pocket of the BC.

Bought 2 of these masks in Gran Canaria in 2004

Bought 2 of these masks in Gran Canaria in 2004. Both started to leak at depth after about 15 dives. This was caused by the retaining clips cracking. Mares UK weren't interested so no aftersales service. After taking advice from my local dive shop I bought another one in 2006. The same fault has just occurred at 37m in August 2008 after about another 15 dives. Am I just unlucky? I won't be buying another one to find out.

I am new to Scuba and took this mask to...

I am new to Scuba and took this mask to Cancun. I found it easy to clear when learning and had no problems with it leaking. Great mask

I love this mask

I love this mask. I tried a friends one after my own started letting in water and HAD to get one. Really comfortable with a good field of view.

Brought the X

Brought the X-Vision after having many masks that were uncomftable and seemed to apply pressure to the top of my nose, causing discomfort. No problem at all with the X-vision, no leaks, great vision and a great buy. The adjustable straps make the mask alot easier to adjust under water.

This is the only mask I

This is the only mask I've ever used that doesn't leak a drop. Add the X vision's first class field of view and excellent comfort to the equation and you've got a winner! Highly recommended.

Mares X

Mares X-Vision is the first mask I've bought & I love it ...which is a good job considering it took me 4 days to choose! Tried all masks on in shop but also tried regs in at same time 'cos as others have said, the masks can fit so differently once you get your reg in. This one suited me best. Easy to clear & equalise - though doesn't need equalising often 'cos less air space. Am newly qualified padi OW & now advanced OW student. Have dived in warm & cold water with it, all fine to 24m so far. My mother tried it out in the pool on our last holiday... & now i'm ordering one for her!

Lovely mask

I have had my X

I have had my X-Vision for 2 years now and it is still fantastic. Used it in warm and cold waters, with loads of different reg's. Qualified as PADI OW, Advanced OW & drysuit with no mask related hitches.

I have to agree with Danny It felt great in...

I have to agree with Danny It felt great in the shop - not when it started leaking water at 12m while doing my PADI open water course for first time. Panicked and suffered nosebleed in process. Not comfortable with regulator in at all.

Before me and my fiancee purchased the mask we tried...

Before me and my fiancee purchased the mask we tried them on. first thoughts were they are great. Until we got into the water with a regulator in our mouths. the regulator pushed the mask up, allowing water to leak into the mask.

 I have had this mask for 2 months and have dived in Thailand and the UK with no problems at all. Vision is great and it is light-weight also.

 I used this mask for some pretty intense diving in...

 I used this mask for some pretty intense diving in the Red-Sea in strong currents to and had no problems with it - great field of vision and easy to clear. Would recommend this mask to anyone.
