A brilliant fin that is not durable enough for the rigours of diving. Mine lasted 35 dives before the left fin blade cracked in half.A great shame as I loved diving in them. Mares need to address this issue!

A very good fin

A very good fin, nice and light and awesome propulsion power. Buckle mechanism easy to use even with gloves on. I understand the concerns regarding the transparent perspex which does not appear to be very robust but as yet I have had no problems. Time will tell.

Great fins loads of power and comfort

Great fins loads of power and comfort. but noticed a unexplained crack in the the plastic/perspex area after about 20 dives, still used them for another 8 dives but will not risk using them in strong currents. I think there may be a design fault in these fins.

One dive completed 54 mins

One dive completed 54 mins. Much better fin than my Mares raptor split fins. More propulsion and therefore better control and manoeuvrability. Great lift to get back into the RIB after the dive. Comfortable fit and easy to put on and remove.

Early days

Early days, just one dive but after my Mares Raptor split fins, the 'wave' gave me more power, manoeuvrability and easy rise back into the RIB. Comfortable and easy to put on due to the mares clip system. Touch wood, good fins.

I really liked these fins at first

I really liked these fins at first, the foot pocket is really soft and well fitting and they are more powerful than I was expected. They don't give me cramp even when I fin really hard and I had no problems towing another diver in when he got cramp. I also liked the design and the fact that they look a bit different from the typical fin. Unfortunately the clear perspex part of the fin snapped on one side in rough water when the blade of the fin caught on a rock and bent backwards. This has ruined the fin. I like the clear perspex panel but sadly it seems to be less flexible than the normal fin construction materials and more prone to breaking. I have now had to dump a £70 pair of fins after less than 50 dives. For this reason I would not recommend these fins.
