The Mission 3 is an analog console with a pressure gauge and a compact compass which are angled for optimal reading. The Mission 3 has a shock resistant case and there is the ption to change the analog depth gauge for the Puck computer capsule at a later date. A great scuba diving console from Mares.

the compass spends mot of the time in the same...

the compass spends mot of the time in the same position unless you shake it to free it and the size is just too big, not remotely compact or user friendly because of the angle of the compass it sticks and seems a handful for small hands. Seem to spend more time fiddling with it than enjoying the dive and being confident that when I look at the compass it's sending me in the right direction
