The Compact Torch from Intova uses a LED concentrated beam to provide great illumination. LED torches are great because there is no need to replace costly bulbs and have a fantastic lifetime of up to 100, 000 hours of use meaning they should last and last. The Intova Compact LED Torch has a strobe function, and option for full power and 30% power depending on your circumstances. This non-rechargeable torch has been constructed from anodized aluminium to ensure it is lightweight and rugged.

I was very impressed by this mini

I was very impressed by this mini-torch when I first used it. Its compact, light weight and very bright for its size. However, the torch flooded and was completely ruined after about 20 or 30 dives. It appears to have flooded through the front lense seal (which I had never removed). Further inspection showed this to be a potential weak point as it only has a single O-ring (in contrast to the battery compartment and front caps which have double O-rings). Looks like I need a new torch for Christmas then!

Good designed torch with one problem it is very difficult...

Good designed torch with one problem it is very difficult to open the case to put batteries in.

best for my outfit

best for my outfit.. as an open water diver and a fire rescuer, very useful. Used it during search and rescue and its strobe is very useful during traffic signaling and distress signaling!!

Simple to use

Simple to use, one button does everything and the locaton means you are unlikely to switch it on or off by mistake. AAA batteries mean you can find replacements if away on a trip and you don't have to lug around a charger or transformer.

Used this torch for the first time in the Maldives...

Used this torch for the first time in the Maldives and i was very impressed with it. Great for looking into nooks and cranies during day dives. On a night dive i took it as a back up torch and used the large torch supplied which i turned off and used the Intova. This was very bright with a penatrating beam. Very impressed and a great buy
