The Hollis M1 provides every thing that you could want in a diving mask, ultra low profile design, super soft superior quality silicone skirt, frameless construction for improved field of vision and reduced weight and optical grade glass for improved clarity and light transmittance.

 

The M1 Mask uses Saint-Gobian Diamant crystal clear glass that has a significantly lower iron copntent that standard glass. This reduction in iron removes the green tint that is often apparent in cheaper glass and allows more light to filter through the glass with being reflected back out by the impurities. Colour distortion is also improved, giving true colour representation.

The lens needs to be cleaned with something stronger than...

The lens needs to be cleaned with something stronger than the usual toothpaste. I cleaned it twice using dishwashing liquid and hot (not boiling) water, and it seems to do the trick. Comfort is amazing and it is indeed crystal clear...

Excellent mask

Excellent mask! Price is almost half of what I've found in Belgium so far. Small hint, like for most masks: clean it before using it (e.g. with toothpaste)...

Great mask

Great mask - tried it for the first time yesterday and was instantly impressed. Very comfortable and great view - the low profile enables excellent peripheral vision. I would strongly recommend this mask to anyone looking for an upgrade.

Mask does fit really well although the size adjuster slips...

Mask does fit really well although the size adjuster slips very easy making it too big for me and after several cleanings with a toothpaste and brush still fogs ALOT to the point ive now relegated it to a backup mask!!

Great mask

Great mask. Was looking for a replacement for my Big Eyes, and took a chance with the Hollis. Happy I did... Fits really well and is top quality.

With previous masks due to a very pronounced masculine brow...

With previous masks due to a very pronounced masculine brow I found that the mask frame pressed into my head and caused leaks and discomfort, the M1's frame-less design is very comfortable and I would recommend for anybody with this problem.

Initially I had problems with fogging despite using toothpaste on the glass, probably due to residue left on the glass from the manufacturing process. However after a few sea dives, no issues. The silicon skirt is very comfortable on the face.

I was actually looking at a different mask, but that was out of stock, and I'm glad it was the Hollis M1 is a really nice mask! and I'm glad I got this instead! I would strongly recommend this mask!

The mask fits well and is far easier to clear...

The mask fits well and is far easier to clear (taking my Divemaster certification right now). The mask is comfortable and is compact enough to be a backup mask in my drysuit or BCD pocket.

after using the Poseidon tech mask and feeling like i was suffering with tunnel vision, this mask lets so much light in due to it shallow frame. would highly recommend to others
