The Top 100 British Shore Dives from Hinchcliffe Books is a fantastic A5 book which can be easily carried before dives and contains all the information you need to find and enjoy the dive. Written by Anita Sherwood, who also produced the British Sea Life DVD, ensures that the book is full of beautiful and colourful photography and each site is clearly described has a point of entry and a map.

In addition 16 other key points are given such as Air fill, Hazards, nearby B and B's, coastguards and tourist information.

Sites included are East and West Scotland, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, South East England, East England and Wales. There is also a selection of fresh water dives and a marine life identification section.

Time will tell if this book is any good

Time will tell if this book is any good! When my partner starts dragging me around the coast to hold his towel whilst he & his buddy try out all the dives we can let you know if the book is any good! He for the diving and me for the loos!

A very nice and very well presented book with good...

A very nice and very well presented book with good accurate information on access to the shore dives as well as the dives themselves. It is the only book that I know of that gives the correct starting point and route out to the Louis Shied (South Devon dive). It also includes some dives I would not have thought of. The rating on difficulty of access is very good and a very handy marine life identification guide in the back.

Absolutely brilliant

Absolutely brilliant. Mainly shallow but different and exciting dives. Some v interesting inland, slightly remote sites. Good maps and directions.

Really nice book

Really nice book. Good starting point for planning a dive and finding new sites. Will need to supplement it with additional information when planning a trip.

Have only dived one of these sites prior to buying...

Have only dived one of these sites prior to buying this book. Packed with plenty of information , especially liked the identification pages at the back of the book. Would recommend to anyone , it's also a nice size to fit into your log book.

Does what it says

Does what it says! This is the book to buy for UK divers! Each site is explained,shown on a map and with a photo including a descripion on how to get to the site and entry areas etc,has colour photo's of marine life too.there are air fill station info and accom lists too! Even fits into log binder!!!! Brilliant!!!!
