Dive Rite Transpac Harness

Dive Rite Transpac Harness

£239.95 RRP £254.95  save 6%

The Dive Rite Transpac is a versatile harness allowing you to switch configuration from backmount to sidemount to single tank. Traditional, harder backplates don't offer this versatility but by being designed like a hiking rucksack the Transpac allows you to distribute weight across the hips and back which minimises any lifting strain. Adjustable straps further help with comfort and allow easy donning and slots in the backplate allow you to fit the included standard 36 inch cam straps when single tank diving.

The Transpac is lightweight and can be easily packed into suitcases for diving holidays. It can be used with any wing in the Dive Rite range and is designed not to be worn with a metal backplate.

Excellent set up

Excellent set up!All nice and neat, but best of all it's all totally adjustable or even removeable!I bought a thigh pocket, cut a bit off, removed the straps and threaded it onto the belt as a mask/utility pouch with room in it!easy as you could want for whatever set you wanna sling! It's got all the features, absolutely great!go buy one!

Very comfortable and very versatile

Very comfortable and very versatile - I use the same harness for single cylinders, twins and twins with a stage. Would recommend buying mask pocket and also the integrated weight systems (2 pockets which fit onto the belt where the shoulder straps join). Not cheap but keep you less cluttered. The crotch strap / scooter ring is also highly recommended - keeps everything (eg. heavy twin set) in place when you're inverted (looking for lobsters, going in and out of wreck hatches etc). Nobody I know who has one of these harnesses is unhappy with it.

Absolutely excellent rig

Absolutely excellent rig. I really cant fault this for comfort and versatility. I started off using this with the Rec Wings for a single cylinder, and I'm still using the same setup for a twin-set with stage. The main benefit with a harness of this type
