The Aluminium Backplate from Dive Rite is a sturdy, lightweight plate made from anodized black aluminium that is ideal for use with a twin backmounted steel tank. It has 11 inch on center holes to accomodate the standard double tank bolt kits and many holes along the outside allows you to mount lights, ponys and lift bags. The backplate has one and two inch slots for you to choose a size of crotch strap and the two 3/8 inch slots in the bottom allows you to fit screws for attaching lift bag sleeves or sidemount butt plates, whereas the two inch slots in the centre allow single tank divers to use cam straps without a tank adapter. The edges of the backplate are smooth to avoid sharp edges cutting into your harness.

For use with Dive Rite wings instead of Transpac 2 harness. Remember to select harness type and cam straps to work with this backplate.
