I bought the titanium version of this watch

I bought the titanium version of this watch, the NY0054-04EB, as I thought it looked good and had a good price at about US$150. However, on my first dive with the watch it misted up)The screw was tight). On top of this, it lost 2 minutes every day. I sent it back to the dealer in singapore as it was under guarantee, and when i got it back it no longer misted up, but was still losing time each day. After about 14 months of owning it, the screw thread gave up and could no longer be tightened. Complete rubbish.

Watch face good

Watch face good, date small, but I don't stay under that long. Bezel, if you want to use it, is rather fine. Rotates with bare fingers, slips in gloves. As I only own one watch I don't like the Depth(ft.) / N.D. time printed on the watch strap. To conclude, as it replaced a £60 apeks watch which lasted over 4 years on its initial battery and is still in excellent condition (including strap/ flat battery) it will have to last at least 8 years to be good value.

Excellent value for money

Excellent value for money, well constructed, stylish and comfortable to wear. I note that the watch is actually depth rated to 300 metres.

I ordered the Ecodrive and the Aqualung Pro 500 together...

I ordered the Ecodrive and the Aqualung Pro 500 together so I could try them both (salesperson was good enough to say I could - thanks) and it was tough deciding which to send back. In the end the low lifetime cost of the Ecodrive (no battery changes + 3 yr warranty) made me go for the Citizen. Nice strap (little perforations) and comfortable enough to wear every day. Minor gripes - crown is fiddly and poorly positioned and date numeral too small - otherwise a joy to own.

 This watch is very durable

This watch is very durable, and with a 3yr warranty gives sound reassurance. It doesn't break as easily as the promaster, if you look at the back cover you'll see why. One to buy if your watching the pennies.
